NSGE 2025 and Demonstration to Syscal Terra

From May 13th to 15th, the 7th Asia-Pacific Conference on Near Surface Geoscience & Engineering (NSGE 2025 Xi 'an), jointly organized by the Chinese Geophysical Society (CGS) and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), and hosted by Chang 'an University, was held in Xi 'an. This conference brought together over 200 domestic and foreign experts and scholars from 83 research institutions and enterprises in 21 countries and regions. They showcased the latest technologies and equipment on site and jointly discussed the cutting-edge progress in the field of near-surface earth science and engineering.

Our partner, IRIS Instruments, set up a booth. Dr. Catherine, the president of IRIS, served as the host of the sub-venue to jointly promote the near-surface applications of IRIS's products in China and the Asia-Pacific region.

After the meeting, we arranged a field equipment display and exchange in the suburbs. The SYSCAL TERRA new resistivity instrument was used on both sides of the embankment of the Chan River in Xi 'an and on both sides of the railway bridge, using the latest technology: transmitter mode for measurement.

We are extremely honored to have invited Gianfranco and Stefano, experts from GEOSTUDI in Italy, who have brought us high-level exploration experience from Europe and new methods for data processing and interpretation.
