The new UMT system of Phoenix Company goes beyond the traditional earth electromagnetic data. It no longer develops hardware separately for the data observation of the four frequency bands of AMT, MT, BMT and LMT. On the new system, there is no difference in the observation of these frequency bands. Using the UMT system eliminates the need to purchase expensive hardware separately and frequently switch in the field to adapt to different frequency bands. This simplified observation method effectively reduces production costs in multiple aspects such as data observation, personnel training, construction operation, and instrument maintenance.
EMPOWER cross-platform software system (data processing/data management), developed for new hardware, greatly simplifies user operations and easily and automatically covers 8 octave bands when equipped with wideband MTC-150 magnetic rods. The probe type will be automatically identified by the system to simplify the data processing operation.
